The OFC poker site is joining its online gaming branch which has been operating under the Danish license since May, 2013. Tonybet Poker has entered the global poker market with its unique OFC poker software more than a year ago and has been booming by attracting the interest of mostly advance poker players who have been looking to play the new and exciting game for real money online.

“It wasn’t an easy process, but we’re proud to finally be able to announce the good news – online Open Face Chinese poker is now available in Denmark,” The Danish TonyBet representative Sune Hansen said. “We’re also already looking for venues to host the first big live OFC poker event.”

Within its first year in business, Tonybet Poker already made a name for itself as a prime online OFC poker location constantly introducing new features to its players. In May the site hosted its second annual online OFC series with 17 events generating tens of thousands of euros in guaranteed prize pools. For a site with just over 400 players at peak hours that sounds more than impressive.

Back in December, Tonybet Poker went even further by hosting the first live OFC Poker World Championship in Prague. It featured two events: the €10,000 buy-in High Roller with 23 players and a record-braking €1,000 buy-in Main Event with 135 participants – more than any live OFC event has gathered ever before.

Now with Tonybet Poker available in the Danish market, the players are able to get their hands on the real money Open Face Chinese poker cash games featuring the most popular Pineapple, Classic, and Turbo variations, as well as Sit & Go and MTT tournaments. The recently-introduced 2-7 Pineapple and Progressive Pineapple are available as well.

“Launching our online OFC poker site in Denmark is only the beginning,” Hansen said. “We have big plans for the future, involving special tournaments, promotions, and even live events in Denmark. We’ve been receiving a lot of requests from our players on when is Open Face Chinese going to be available in Denmark, and now it’s finally here. This is a big day for us as well as the Danish poker community.”
