The European Lotteries association elects Hansjörg Höltkemeier as new President

At their General Assembly, the national lotteries united under the umbrella of The European Lotteries have elected their new Executive Committee for the 2015-2017 period. The General Assembly preceded a two day congress in Oslo, hosted by the Norwegian lottery Norsk Tipping.

 

Hansjörg Höltkemeier has been elected through a direct vote by the members as President of the association. He has been a member of the Managing Board of the Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin (Germany) since 2005 and a member of EL Executive Committee since 2009. The General Assembly also appointed Fernando Paes Afonso of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (Portugal) as First Vice-President and Robert Chvátal of Sazka (Czech Republic) as Second
Vice-President.
