Leading lottery betting company Lottoland has announced the recruitment of highly-experienced senior iGaming executive Glen Bullen to head up its new B2B arm, Lottoland Solutions.

Since entering the sector back in 1999, Bullen has gained a wealth of global experience, occupying senior commercial roles across three continents and working extensively across North American, European and Asian gaming markets.

Bullen joins Lottoland at an exciting time in the company’s development. Earlier this year, it became the first and only lottery betting provider to be backed by an EU-registered insurance linked security (ILS) vehicle specifically designed for lottery. With this in place, Lottoland is secure behind a €100m ILS providing cover for the possibility of customers hitting one of the many lottery jackpot betting opportunities that it offers.

The ILS creates scope for Lottoland to provide its lottery solution on a B2B basis and to position itself at the forefront of a new and exciting online gambling sector that will enable operators to offer betting on the outcome of major lotteries worldwide. Bullen will oversee the development and international expansion of Lottoland Solutions as it pioneers this unique B2B offering.

“I’m thrilled to be part of the Lottoland team,” said Bullen. “What we have with this sector is something that’s very new and pioneering and that’s an exciting thing to be involved with. I’m eager to contribute to the Lottoland success story with our our new B2B vertical and continue to expand on our international reach.”
