Bacta has revealed that early visitor registrations for the Association’s SR Exchange are encouragingly strong. The one day event, will take place in London on 21st November, and will bring together Responsible Gambling professionals, Operators and their staff to share knowledge and experience in the pursuit of best practice.
The event, the first of its kind in the UK, has a packed programme, is free-to- attend and conveniently scheduled to take place the day prior to the bacta Convention & AGM.
The day will commence with a Welcoming Address by Simon Bradbury, bacta Head of Social Responsibility, followed by the Keynote Speech from Kate Lampard CBE, Chair of independent charity GambleAware.
The morning session will be concluded with a panel discussion entitled: Improving the customer journey for the problem or at risk customer. YGAM founder Lee Willows, GamCare CEO Anna Hemmings, Gambling Commission Programme Director Helen Rhodes and Silcock Leisure Group’s Justin Prescott will be sharing the journey a problem gambler would take through to treatment. It is anticipated that the differing perspectives will provide a deeper understanding.
The afternoon will be devoted to a series of workshops for the exchange of ideas and knowledge on several key aspects of social responsibility. All workshop sessions will benefit from experienced facilitators with in-depth knowledge of the subjects covered:-
