Merkur Gaming, a subsidiary of the East Westphalian Gauselmann Group, had the chance to wow international clientele with lots of interesting new product innovations at this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo and Convention Center (booth number 2464) from the 30th September to 2nd October. The game designers scored well here, primarily with their new highlight, the ‘Ozone’, as well as the innovative cabinet versions ‘Avantgarde SLT’ and ‘Evolution SL’.
“We are very pleased with the results of this year’s G2E Las Vegas and have established lots of important and, above all, high-quality contacts for the future. In addition, the G2E provides the opportunity to obtain a complete overview of new trends in the industry”, said Ralf Markmann, speaker of the Management Board, who was at the forefront of Merkur Gaming at the trade fair in Las Vegas for the very first time. “Merkur Gaming can simply not afford to miss out on this leading trade fair for this very reason. In addition, many of our customers from our target markets across Latin America, Colombia, Peru and Europe visit the G2E”.
Particular attention was given to the ‘Ozone’ this year, which is shaped like a sphere and offers an entirely new and unprecedented gaming experience alongside its attractive design – a true eye-catcher. The player sits within the sphere and can immerse him or herself within the game undisturbed. The game attains a completely different dimension within the ‘Ozone’ with a surround sound system and graphics in full HD quality. Even the new ‘Evolution SL’ and ‘Avantgarde SLT’ cabinets consolidate razor sharp images and gaming animations of the very highest quality with HD technology. Paired with the new games from the Merkur Gaming think tank as well as the ‘made in Germany’ superior quality recognition, the illustrated product portfolio offers exactly the right package to be well equipped to meet the international markets. The extensive gaming library of Merkur Gaming has grown by 17 new and exciting games. Moreover, the development of the ‘Highflyer’ shows that Merkur Gaming has the right feel for the needs of the customer. Players on the ‘Highflyer’ can take advantage of the most relaxing sitting position and thereby truly enjoy the gaming experience, thanks to the floating upper monitor.
The international clientele also had the opportunity to inform themselves about offers from the areas of the SGB (server-based gaming), VLT (video lottery terminals) and jackpot systems and additionally received information concerning the diverse money management portfolio of the Gauselmann Group. The successful Merkur Dispenser tool came into focus here. The latest further development, the Merkur Dispenser 100 Gold, which has already set a new standard in the area of money management with its integrated ticket function, is capable of processing a total of three different note denominations, each having up to 34 individual notes and therefore offers uncontested possibilities in money exchange technology, whether within a device or as part of a money changer.
The Merkur brand has acquired ever increasing prominence, players and operating companies instantly associate the name with many years of experience in the international gaming industry as well as the outstanding ‘made in Germany’ recognition. Likewise, Merkur Gaming is a synonym for pure gaming fun. It is for this reason that the primary goal of the company is to align the development of hardware and software to the needs of the customers in the respective target markets. The representation of the company at the G2E Las Vegas, which is attended by both international as well as European customers, is also an important contribution in this respect.
