The success of GeWeTe is apparent for anyone who arrives at Rome’s major airport Fiumicino. The payment terminals to use a trolley and the change machines are made by GeWeTe. Moving on to the ENADA Rome exhibition that took place between 15th and 17th October, the GeWeTe stand was understandably busy all three days.
GeWeTe offers optimal change solutions for all the segments of Italian gaming. As stated in its product name, this VLT change machine is extremely compact. Fitted with a choice of banknote recyclers, a 15” LCD display, thermal printer, barcode scanner, up to three additional banknote dispensers and three hoppers for coin payout, this PC-based change ma-chine fulfils all market requirements.
The CASH-RECYCLER-COMPACT is the most preferred GeWeTe change machine for the arcade market. Coins can be entered in bulk, so is ideal for changing a larger number of coins for banknotes. The banknote recycler (either the Merkur Dispenser 100 or the JCM iPRO RC-200) ensures that banknotes can not only be validated but stored for pay-out. In this way, the CASH-RECYCLER-COMPACT can offer the ideal solution for change from coins to notes, coins to coins, notes to coins and notes to notes.
Another example of how GeWeTe is expanding into further markets in Italy is the DEPOSIT COMPACT – yet another brand new product to be shown at the ENADA. This intelligent safe is fitted with two banknote readers allowing bulk note feed of up to 50 notes at one time each. The stackers can hold 2,000 banknotes each, thus a great capacity. The coins can simply be tipped into the machine and the DEPOSIT COMPACT does all the rest. All euro coins – from 1 cent to 2 euros can be entered. A time lock gives added security. The DEPOSIT COMPACT is ideal for many retails segments, including shops, yet also transport service companies and owners of petrol stations. For the ENADA, owners of larger arcades were particularly attracted. A further benefit for users of the DEPOSIT COMPACT is that often the money is credited to the bank as soon as the CIT (cash-in-transit) company has accessed the money. Thus, users of the DEPOSIT COMPACT have the peace of mind that their money is 100% secure.
