James Anderson has been appointed as Sales & Commercial Director of BANDAI NAMCO Amusement Europe Limited. In announcing the news, Managing Director John McKenzie explained that James was an obvious choice for the role. “Despite being relatively young, James has earned huge respect from around the industry;  not just within the UK but globally. He has proven his credentials at this company during the past few years by developing the Prize business and supporting other parts of the business where necessary. His undoubted ability and knowledge is matched by his enthusiasm for our business,” he said.

James takes over the role with immediate effect and will head up the Amusements Division which comprises the game and prize businesses. James started with Bandai Namco five years ago and has become a popular figure within the company as he quickly embarked upon developing licensed branded prizes and merchandise for the amusement and leisure industry. Prior to Bandai Namco he worked at Konami, where he was responsible for managing the European business for amusement machines.

McKenzie added, “A key factor in our company’s success is the continuous contribution from our staff, who I know will be very pleased with this internal appointment. It shows that our first priority is to promote from within wherever possible. James has a great team to support him so he will certainly hit the ground running.” James Anderson said, “I am honoured to be appointed to this role and am looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead. We have a number of great products at this time and many exciting developments around the corner for both amusement machines and prize.”
