GeWeTe made a strong impression on visitors to the BEGE (Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo) that took place between 23rd and 24th November at the Inter Expo Centre exhibition hall in Sofia, Bulgaria.
GeWeTe – the Gauselmann company responsible for change and redemption machine technology within the group of companies – celebrated its debut at the BEGE. Two top-selling change machines were on display that offer differing capabilities – namely the Cash-Center-Compact-Casino and the Cash-Center-Compact. These satisfy the requirements for both the casino and street gaming segments.
The Cash-Center-Compact-Casino offers practically everything an operator requires from a change/redemption machine. Operators can configure this PC-based machine to best fit their needs, for example with an electronic coin acceptor or with a banknote reader or banknote recycler. It is fitted with four high-capacity banknote dispensers (with a total capacity of 12,000 notes). The barcode reader and TiTo features means that this innovation from GeWeTe is ideal for both the casino segment as well as sports betting. The 15” touchscreen makes it ideal to operate.
GeWeTe introduced a new version of its Cash-Center-Compact at the BEGE. This has been created to satisfy the demand in the street gaming segment. The focus here is more on change giving per se. Therefore, the GeWeTe team has pooled together its experience to ensure that operators in Eastern Europe can still be able to choose the premium change-giving brand of GeWeTe. It makes use of an 7” touchscreen and offers extensive coin an banknote change capacity. Even though purchasing power in Eastern European is sometimes not as strong as in Western Europe, operators can still afford here to invest in GeWeTe technology as the Cash-Center-Compact has been specifically designed for the operators here. Ample change giving capacity is guaranteed with note dispensers that can store up to 2,000 banknotes alongside further banknote recycling capacity. The feedback from the BEGE proved that GeWeTe has exactly what such operators are looking for.
The BEGE exhibition was also a special occasion for Jens Möller – as this was his first exhibition since joining GeWeTe. Jens Möller has many years of experience in the industry – both in change machine technology and cash management – so understands the change machine technology inside out.
Mr. Aristidis Tsikouras, Managing Director of GeWeTe, pointed out the importance of the BEGE show, “The feedback at this exhibition was excellent. We understand the needs of operators and thus we have created a new change machine that ideally fits the requirements of street gaming operators in Eastern Europe. We are here to support operators in Eastern Europe and that is why we have strengthened our sales team. Jens Möller combines a great technical understanding with vast industry experience. We have the structure in place to build our presence in Eastern Europe and this will be a focus of our corporate strategy in the coming year”.
