The EAG is Britain’s showpiece exhibition for the local amusement and gaming industry. Once again the EAG took place at the ExCel Centre in London between 13th and 15th January.

These three days were extremely busy for GeWeTe – the ‘made in Germany’ provider of a complete range of change machine solutions. This Gauselmann Group subsidiary enjoys an excellent reputation for quality and reliability. The popularity of the GeWeTe was a testimony to this.

Visitors to the GeWeTe stand had the chance to see just precisely why GeWeTe can provide the optimal solution for each requirement. These include the Cash Center, the Cash Recycler and the WGS 200 Casino. The Cash Recycler is the ideal all-rounder that includes for ticketing requirements. The JCM iPRO banknote recycler has the capacity to store two hundred bills for recycling purposes.

Two dedicated note dispensers add even more banknote pay-out capacity. Coins can be entered in bulk and are sorted and validated at a rate of two hundred coins per second. The operator card system can be programmed for differing levels of access and remote programming comes as standard – so that staff can be alerted by email or text message on important features, for example, the level of coins in the hoppers. This forward-thinking design enables operators to make complete 24/7 usage of GeWeTe change machine solutions.

GeWeTe products can be simple integrated into key systems in the UK – the FutureLogic Ticket2Go and the ECM bingo system. Quality and the best solutions – this can also be found for Kiddie Rides. GeWeTe distributes the Disney-licensed Kiddie Rides in the UK on behalf of the Gauselmann Group. Two different Disney Kiddie Rides were on proud display, namely Lightning McQueen and Princess Dreams. The ideal touchscreen, interactive solution for children is the Happy Kids Disney Touch – which was also on display.

“This is an extremely important show for us and exhibiting at the EAG gives us the opportunity to underline our dedication to the British market. Quality always wins through in the end, especially for machines that are focused around money handling. This is the message we are taking back from London. We are extremely positive on our further prospects in the UK market as more and more operators are turning to us to provide their change machine and redemption machine solutions. Naturally the fact that we have our own office in the UK that is led by Mark Edmundson was commented very highly upon by visitors to our stand”, stated Aristidis Tsikouras, Managing Director of GeWeTe.
