With great sadness the Gauselmann Group needs to inform that Jens Halle, Merkur Gaming CEO, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on 20 May 2015 at the age of 57. The Gauselmann family alongside the entire Gauselmann Group are deeply saddened by his premature death and express their deepest sympathy to his family.

Jens Halle was one of the most important personalities in the gaming industry. He was renowned for his foresight, which was based on his wide diversity of experience. He had been responsible for the international sales activities of the Gauselmann Group subsidiary as CEO of Merkur Gaming since 01 January 2015. The Gauselmann family and the entire staff of the Gauselmann Group are profoundly moved and are mourning the loss of their colleague.
