The team at Bandai Namco Prize Division is thrilled with the response from customers and visitors to last week’s EAG at Excel in London.

“It was our best show to date” said Darrell Simmonds EMEA Sales Manager. “The undoubted star of the show was the range of retail quality plush on offer at competitive prices. The upcoming blockbuster movie by DreamWorks called Home was one of the stars of the show. Not all of the visitors to the stand were aware of the film on day one, but we had the trailer running on TV screens and they soon appreciated the magnitude of the licence, word spread and by day two the interest was immense.”

Home is a computer-animated comedy from DreamWorks Animation, starring Rihanna, Jim Parsons, Steve Martin, and Jennifer Lopez. The movie will be released in March 2015 and the movie trailer is already the most watched trailer on YouTube. Home Talking plush has also just won an award at the BTHA 2015 Toy Awards, along with Deluxe Flying Baymax from Bandai.

The other star product on the Bandai Namco stand was Shaun the Sheep, who will be starring in his own movie this Spring. In Shaun the Sheep: the movie, Shaun and his flock leave Mossy Bottom Farm to venture into the big city. The film is already being massively promoted in cinemas and online.

“Our customers are already familiar with Shaun, the Sheep as we have worked closely with Aardman Productions for a number of years. In fact he has been with the company longer than me!” said James Anderson, General Manager. “So it was great to be able to tell them that the range will be in even greater demand with the playing public this year thanks to the awareness the movie will generate.”

Pac-Man will turn 35 this year and he too will be in a movie called Pixels, which will be out this summer. The Bandai Namco range of Pac-Man gift prizes has been extended and supports the strength of the Pac-Man branded coin op machines available from Bandai Namco. In addition, the NAM-GEAR 7 inch tablet will now be available in a Pac-Man themed version with the game already installed.

The NAM-GEAR range goes from strength to strength and the star product during EAG was the dual sim 3G smart phone which has an array of coloured backs to choose from.

Brand new to the EAG show this year from Bandai Namco Prize was a range of coin cups which are available in 300 cc size with an amusement arcade design. The cups are environmentally friendly, made from paper and can be customized to individual arcades’ requirements.

New this season are some Big Hero 6 toys and a new range of prizes for pre-schoolers from leading manufacturer VTech.

Bandai Namco Prize Division is also becoming renowned for its extensive range of confectionary, which covers everything from 5p chews through to candy cups with straws.
