IAGR has promulgated its first International Technical Standards for Electronic Gaming Machines during the IAGR Conference 2014. This document has also been published on IAGR’s website.
The International Technical Standards for Electronic Gaming Machines is brought together by IAGR’s Technical Standards Sub-Committee (TSC), which was established in May 2013 to develop international technical standards for gaming equipment that can be used as benchmarks and referenced by member jurisdictions to ensure effective operation of the gaming equipment.
The TSC intends to stipulate good practices in key areas of regulating the gaming equipment in the international technical standards and any member jurisdiction can incorporate these standards should it chooses to do so.
