The recent EAS show in Amsterdam was a huge success for Bandai Namco Prize Division.
“It is the perfect opportunity for us to meet with our distributors and customers throughout Europe and beyond, following the summer season. We can present our latest developments and finalise orders with distributors in Europe for the upcoming year,” says Darrell Simmonds, EMEA Sales Manager. “We were also able to drop some hints about the fact that we have the rights to a huge film licence, which will be released next Easter.”
“We already have the rights to Shaun the Sheep who will be starring in his own global movie early next year and he is one of our hottest licences at the moment. We took some significant pre-orders for our range of Shaun plush at EAS,” he adds.
Aardman has just announced a new raft of licensing deals for Shaun in the run-up to the movie, including a range of Easter eggs, fashion items and a DS game. In addition, with 2015 being the Year of the Sheep in Asia, the company is planning massive celebrations and events.
Other products that made a big impression at EAS were the NAM-GEAR 3G dual core processor smart phones and the 9 Inch Super Tablet, the biggest on the market to date which comes in a white colour to match the rest of the industry leading NAM-GEAR range.
“NAM-GEAR continues to be the market leader for prize electronics and we have received excellent feedback at EAS from customers who really like the new range and colour,” says Darrell.
