Two of the world’s top teams go head-to-head in ‘Best of Three’ DOTA challenge

Betway’s eSports Fight Night will return on 23 June and sees Alliance and Na’Vi – two of the globe’s premier eSports teams –compete for a 5,000 EUR prize to be donated a charity of the winning team’s choice.

The leading eSports bookmaker, who became the first firm to launch a dedicated eSports portal in August 2015, will be offering a comprehensive collection of markets on the ‘Best of Three’ DOTA crunch match.

Hosted on Swedish newspaper Aftonbladent’s Twitch channel on Thursday 23 June, Betway’s Fight Night pits Alliance against Na’Vi who will be hoping to claim bragging rights, in addition to a cheque for 5,000 EUR to be donated to charity.

Betway’s Anthony Werkman said: “Following the unprecedented success of the inaugural event, Betway’s Fight Night is back with a bang and pits two of the world’s greatest teams against each other for bragging rights and a cash prize.

“Our dedicated eSports portal isn’t even a year old yet and we’ve seen eSports grow beyond our own lofty expectations, featuring regularly in our daily top 10 sports for turnover.”

The last edition of Betway’s Fight Night saw Sweden’s Fnatic defeat Denmark’s Astralis three games to nil in a hotly contested Counter Strike Global Offensive match.

Werkman added: “Betway’s Fight Night is becoming a can’t miss fixture on the eSports calendar and we’re excited to bring fans the very best DOTA action.”

Betway was the first major bookmaker to launch a dedicated eSports portal, giving fans the opportunity to bet on a wide variety of pre-game, in-play and long term markets.

In the last 12 months, Betway has tripled its eSports team to accommodate the huge surge in interest from eSports bettors.
